Healthy Water Hurricane Preparedness

It’s that time again.

Even as our community is still finding our way through the COVID-19 crisis, we now must start thinking about hurricanes, too. Weather experts are predicting a busy hurricane season, with as many as 18 named storms from June to November. Are you prepared?

One of the effects of COVID-19 can be seen on grocery store shelves. Floridians are used to stocking up on supplies late in the spring, but the pandemic means the whole country started buying surplus water (among other supplies) way back in January.

Here at Healthy Water, we’ve been fortunate enough to be able to keep working through this crisis. And with so many people stuck at home, our customers have become acutely aware of their tap water, and we’ve been able to do lots of new installations, filter replacements and equipment repairs over this time. But hurricanes can disrupt our business in ways the virus hasn’t. That’s why it’s so important to us that you take care of your residential water filtration needs now, before a storm makes it harder for us to get to you–and harder for you to get healthy water.

Rather than fighting for bottled water at the store, we want you to have easy access clean, good-tasting water right from your sink. That way, you won’t even need to leave the house to meet your water needs for hurricane season.

We’ve been dealing with water filtration systems in Florida for more than a decade. We know what needs to happen in terms of equipment, location, installation and maintenance in order to keep your system up and running through all kinds of weather, from unrelenting sunshine to powerful storms.

It’s been a long spring, but now is not the time to get complacent. If you haven’t yet addressed the water system in your home or business, give us a call to discuss your options. We can test your water to see what kind of system you need, then get everything set up–before the storms come.
