Salt Usage
In addition to the permanent equipment, water treatment often uses materials that break down in the process. Salt is a major factor in making water softer. And while we want to offer the best possible water-softening performance, we don’t want to use unnecessary amounts of salt, which then has to be replenished more frequently. Our metered systems typically use between 40% and 60% less salt than mechanical valves.
Water Consumption
The electronic valves we use at Healthy Water also control how much water is wasted in the regeneration process. Our meters on average use 57% less water than the mechanical standard.
